Seven Asia Takes 51% of Joint Venture with HJT International Exhibition
Seven Asia, a subsidiary of the Comexposium Group, has entered a strategic partnership with HJT International Exhibition, a Chinese organiser of international trade shows for technology and manufacturing. The two sides are creating a joint venture to act as a collaborative platform for managing large international industrial events, with Seven Asia becoming majority shareholder by taking a 51 per cent stake. The combination is intended to support the commercial development of Interfoam, CIBRUSH and SurfacePME in Southeast Asia, India and the Middle East. The signing ceremony took place on 5 February 2026 in Zhuhai, China, attended by Andy Wismarsyah for Seven Asia and Hailong Bian, founder and chief executive of HJT International Exhibition, which was established in 2011 and focuses on specialised niche markets. Comexposium Asia-Pacific managing director Elaine Chia said the Asia-Pacific region and the Chinese market in particular are central to group strategy given economic momentum and rising demand for trade shows. In 2026 the collaboration will run several international shows including Interfoam China 2026, SurfacePME 2026 and the China International Brush Industry Exhibition 2027, with the new venture gaining access to the group's technology, resources and global network.
