Newly built CIFTIS Halls 2, 3 and 4 at Shougang Park handed over
According to an official at Shougang Park, construction of three new halls, Halls 2, 3 and 4, began at the park after the 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) ended, and the halls were handed over on 13 August 2026 after more than 300 days of work. The three new halls, with a total floor area of 144,600 square metres, and the existing Hall 1 form the four permanent CIFTIS halls at Shougang Park, linked by sky corridors. The rooftops of all three halls are fully accessible, with roof gardens on Halls 2 and 4. The west and south façades of Hall 4 use building-integrated photovoltaics, with 3,200 square metres of solar panels and a generating capacity of 320 kilowatts, and the new halls make extensive use of air-source heat pumps. The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services opened at Shougang Park on 9 September.
