SICUR 2026 Announces Programme Aligned with the Major Challenges of Integral Security
SICUR, the International Security Trade Fair organised by IFEMA Madrid, will take place from 24 to 27 February 2026 at Pavilion 10. The event has announced a high-level programme addressing the strategic challenges facing public and private security in an increasingly complex risk environment. The first day (24 February) focuses on European innovation and cooperation, featuring a session on Horizon Europe Cluster 3 (Civil Security for Society) led by CDTI and Fundación Madrid+D, followed by a Brokerage Event for strategic networking and an afternoon session on remote fire alarm centre management. Day two centres on the security industry's strategic role, the AES session on protecting critical infrastructure and public spaces, and the Observatorio Mujer y Seguridad forum presenting the 5th Women and Security Study and a female leadership mentoring programme. A parallel session on occupational risk prevention is co-hosted with Fundación Mapfre and INSST. Day three (26 February) addresses civil protection against extreme weather events and energy disruption, lithium-ion battery and solar installation fire risks, and sustainable construction's impact on fire safety, coordinated by Cepreven.
