TaipeiPLAS 2026 Opens 15 September at Nangang with Smart Manufacturing and Circular Economy Focus

The 2026 Taipei International Plastics and Rubber Industry Show (TaipeiPLAS), co-organised by TAITRA and the Taiwan Machinery Industry Association, will be held from 15 to 19 September at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1. The show theme is Form to Future, centred on three pillars: smart manufacturing, innovative materials and circular economy. The TaipeiPLAS Forum will take place on 16 and 17 September across four sessions covering circular materials, high-value applications, AI-driven smart manufacturing and next-generation talent. International speakers include representatives from BASF, ARBURG, ENGEL, Nittobo and Milliken, alongside Taiwanese firms including Taiwan Plastics, Hanxiang Aerospace and Zeroplus. An international market briefing on 15 September will focus on Central and Eastern Europe, North Africa and Southeast Asia. The TaipeiPLAS Award 2026 will see 21 entries from 17 companies compete for recognition on 16 September. A special exhibition titled Plastics for the Future will present the circular journey of materials from design through manufacture, use and recycling.
