Taiwan Excellence Pavilion Showcases 10 Brands at 2026 Japan Taiwan Image Show

The Taiwan Excellence Pavilion at the 2026 Japan Taiwan Image Show, held at Tokyo's Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Square from 15 to 17 July, presented Taiwan's advanced technologies and premium products under the theme Trusted Connections, Innovative Bonds. The pavilion hosted 10 product experience sessions across three product categories. Participating companies included Lingqun Computer, Tatung, Merida Industry, Innolux and Delta Electronics. Featured products included Qilyao Photonics' AI transparent two-way translation device supporting 21 languages, Smile Element's Unimoke miniswing electric bicycle, and Shenghong International's SH-RD protein hair treatment. The opening day attracted coverage from 14 Japanese media outlets including Yomiuri Television and TBS. Taiwan's Minister of Economic Affairs Kung Ming-hsin and Representative to Japan Li Yi-yang attended as VIP guests, engaging with an interactive light-and-shadow installation symbolising Taiwan-Japan connectivity. Japanese entertainer Furukawa Yuna participated as a guest presenter for the Taiwan Excellence Future Academy theme.
