Tenth CIIE opens exhibitor sales with 50,000 sqm signed by 68 companies
The China International Import Expo Bureau launched exhibitor recruitment for the 10th CIIE at a ceremony held on 27 July 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, timed to the 100-day countdown to the 9th edition. Sixty-eight companies signed on at the ceremony, covering more than 50,000 sqm of exhibition space. More than 30 companies including Roche Pharmaceuticals, Samsung, HSBC, L Oreal, Pernod Ricard and Honda will attend for a tenth time, becoming the first group of exhibitors present at every edition. Wu Zhengping, party secretary and deputy director of the bureau and chairman of the venue operator, said that over eight editions the expo has drawn 27,000 company participations from more than 180 countries and regions, with intended deal value exceeding USD 580 billion, and that it has served as a route for foreign firms to enter and establish themselves in China. Other signatories included AMD, Intel, Honeywell, Emerson, Rio Tinto, Michelin, Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, Standard Chartered, 3M, BHP and Adidas. Bank of China, a strategic partner since the first edition, said it would continue providing cross-border financial services to exhibitors.
