Texworld and Apparel Sourcing New York City Winter 2026 Edition Concludes with Strong Industry Engagement
The Winter 2026 edition of Texworld New York City and Apparel Sourcing New York City has closed after three days at the Javits Center, drawing thousands of textile and apparel professionals. Exhibitors came from more than 18 countries, with five national pavilions on the floor: Bangladesh, Taiwan, Korea, Mexico and Uzbekistan. The organiser did not release audited visitor or exhibitor counts. Education programming concentrated on sustainability, supply-chain transparency, digital tools and emerging technologies, with artificial intelligence running through much of the agenda. A newly expanded Innovation Hub gathered technology solutions, next-generation materials and industry services, and featured exhibitors including April Knit Studio, while B and S Activewear appeared as a first-time Apparel Sourcing exhibitor. Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles and Textile Technologies at Messe Frankfurt GmbH, said the edition demonstrated how strongly artificial intelligence is shaping the sector's future. Jennifer Bacon, Vice President of Fashion and Apparel at Messe Frankfurt Inc., pointed ahead to the summer editions. The shows next run 21 to 23 July at the California Market Center in Los Angeles and 29 to 31 July at the Javits Center in New York.
