Texworld NYC Celebrates 20 Years as the East Coast's Largest Premier Global Sourcing Destination
Messe Frankfurt has previewed the summer edition of Texworld New York City, which marks the show's twentieth year. The event runs 29 to 31 July 2026 at the Javits Center with more than 425 international exhibitors, co-located with Apparel Sourcing NYC, Home Textiles Sourcing NYC and Printsource. Peclers Paris curates the trend showcase for the Fall/Winter 2027/28 season. The Textile Talks programme covers tariffs, sustainability, artificial intelligence and climate resilience, with speakers from Li and Fung, David Yurman, Carter's, Tapestry, Eileen Fisher, Vogue Business, the NYU Stern Center for Sustainable Business and Fibershed, while Xochil Herrera of The Chicago Pattern Maker leads hands-on workshops. An Innovation Hub showcases emerging technologies, and specialty sourcing categories have been expanded to include Texpertise Ecology, deadstock and low minimum order options. The organiser also notes that Home Textiles Sourcing makes its first West Coast appearance alongside the Los Angeles events this season. Jennifer Bacon, Vice President of Fashion and Apparel Shows at Messe Frankfurt Inc., framed the twentieth anniversary as a celebration of the global community the show has built.
