Turkish deputy trade minister attends F İstanbul food fair opening

Deputy Minister of Trade Mahmut Gürcan attended the opening ceremony of the F İstanbul Uluslararası Gıda Endüstrisi Fuarı, held at the İstanbul Fuar Merkezi and bringing together more than 620 exhibiting companies and visitors from over 100 countries. In his speech he pointed to Türkiye's production and export capacity in agricultural and food products and its position in global trade, saying work continues to develop the sector further and to strengthen exporters in international markets. He then toured the stands of participating companies. Agricultural and food exports rose from 3.7 billion dollars in 2002 to 32.6 billion dollars in 2025, the highest level in the history of the Republic.
