Türkiye records foreign exhibitors in two categories: 14,839 direct and 8,631 through agents

Türkiye's fair register counts foreign exhibitors in two separate categories. Direct foreign exhibitors are companies taking a stand in their own name: there were 14,839 of them in 2025, occupying 237,856 square metres. Indirect foreign exhibitors are foreign brands shown by a Turkish agent or distributor: there were 8,631 of them, occupying 288,550 square metres. The second group is smaller in number yet holds more floor space than the first. The split follows the international calendar, with 9,329 of the direct group appearing at international fairs and 5,510 at national ones, and 5,582 of the indirect group at international fairs against 3,049 at national ones. İstanbul alone accounted for 12,955 direct and 6,673 indirect foreign exhibitors. For a company weighing market entry, the two categories describe two routes onto a Turkish show floor, and the register shows how much space each route commands in any sector or city. The two figures are published separately for every sector group and for every province in the register.
