Türkiye's 112 international fairs took more stand space than its 349 national fairs

Of the 461 fairs Türkiye held in 2025, 349 were classified as national and 112 as international. The smaller international group carried the larger commercial load. International fairs allocated 1,777,926 square metres of stand space against 1,669,234 for the national group, and drew 38,049 exhibitors against 47,459. They also concentrated the foreign presence: 9,329 direct foreign exhibitors against 5,510 at national fairs, 5,582 indirect foreign exhibitors against 3,049, and 540,838 foreign visitors against 322,743. Total visitors run the other way, with 15,815,955 at national fairs and 4,277,064 at international ones. Read together, the two series describe a market with two distinct halves. The national calendar is where the volume of visitors sits, while the international calendar is where the floor space, the foreign exhibitors and the foreign buyers are found. A company choosing where to exhibit in Türkiye is effectively choosing between those two audiences. The register lists both groups on the same ten measures, so the split can be read directly.
