Unpaid pitches fell from 63 to 36 percent among Swiss live communication firms
Pitching is normal practice in the Swiss live communication market and it is expensive. Of the 91 firms answering, 60 percent took part in a tender or pitch during 2024 and 2025. 32 percent entered one to five, up 14 points on the 2024 survey, 17 percent entered six to ten, up 9 points, and 12 percent entered more than ten. The 40 percent that entered none is down 18 points. Among the 55 firms that did pitch, the average cost per pitch was up to CHF 5,000 for 29 percent and between CHF 5,001 and CHF 10,000 for 27 percent, while 16 percent spent between CHF 10,001 and CHF 20,000 and 13 percent more than CHF 30,000. What comes back has improved. In the same group of 55, 36 percent reported an average fee of CHF 0, against 63 percent in the 2024 survey. A further 16 percent received up to CHF 1,000, 16 percent between CHF 1,001 and CHF 2,000, 20 percent between CHF 2,001 and CHF 4,000, and 5 percent more than CHF 6,000.
