About this expo

Agri-Trade is widely recognized as one of North America's leading farm equipment shows and a top agricultural equipment exhibition in Canada. The event focuses exclusively on new agricultural equipment, technology, services, and products, strictly prohibiting the display or promotion of used equipment.

Organized as a joint venture between the Red Deer & District Chamber of Commerce and Westerner Park, Agri-Trade attracts a significant audience. Each year, the expo draws over 32,000 qualified agricultural buyers, including farmers, ranchers, and agricultural professionals, alongside more than 500 equipment manufacturers and agricultural service providers. The event is estimated to generate $300 million annually in equipment sales and tourism spending, with past editions like 2017 welcoming over 28,000 buyers and generating over $150 million in sales.

Beyond the main exhibition, Agri-Trade features the Ag Innovations Competition, a concurrent event that highlights groundbreaking innovations from manufacturers and marketers in the agricultural sector. The 2026 competition is scheduled for November 12, 2026, offering cash prizes including a $20,000 Grand Prize and a $5,000 Farmer's Choice Award.
