The event, owned by the Zambia National Farmers Union (ZNFU) and professionally managed by Africast Zambia Limited, is held annually at the GART Research Centre in Chibombo, Zambia, a dedicated 22-hectare agri-park. Since 2014, it has welcomed over 100,000 farming professionals, with the 2027 edition focusing on "Technology. Transformation. Trade."

The expo showcases a wide array of technologies designed to enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability across the agricultural value chain. Key exhibit sectors include mechanisation, digital data tools, renewable energy, and irrigation systems. Attendees can explore specialized areas like the Business & Livestock Zone and the Aquaculture Zone, alongside engaging in live field trials and test zones.
