Art Basel Hong Kong

Art Basel Hong Kong is an annually held international art show taking place from March 25 to March 27, 2027, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. This event brings together artists and galleries from across the globe, showcasing modern and contemporary artwork with a particular emphasis on the Asia-Pacific region. It functions as a significant platform for the presentation of diverse artistic expressions.

The exhibition features several distinct sectors. "Galleries" presents works from established modern and contemporary art galleries, which included 182 galleries in 2026. "Discoveries" is dedicated to emerging contemporary artists, while "Insights" highlights curated projects by artists from Asia and the Asia-Pacific region. Other sectors include "Kabinett" for specialized presentations within main booths, "Encounters" for large-scale installations, "Echoes" (introduced in 2026) focusing on recent works, "Zero 10" (debuting in 2026) integrating digital practices, and "Film" for moving image art.

The fair attracts a wide range of attendees, including collectors, institutions, cultural leaders, art enthusiasts, museum curators, creative professionals, and artists, alongside younger and first-time buyers. Complementing the exhibition are concurrent programs such as "Conversations," a talks program, and "Film," which offers a global perspective on moving image practices. Special initiatives like "Artists' Night" (2026) and the "M+ Facade commission" (2026) further enrich the event experience.
