FILBO

The Feria Internacional del Libro de Bogotá (FILBo), established in 1988, is an annual cultural event recognized as a leading international book fair in Bogota and across the Spanish-speaking world. Hosted at the Centro Internacional de Negocios y Exposiciones CORFERIAS in Bogota, Colombia, from 2027-04-20 to 2027-05-03, FILBo serves as a vital platform for the book industry, particularly from Ibero-America.

Exhibitors represent diverse sectors including publishing, book trade, graphic design, and illustration, with specific categories such as National & International Publishing, Children's & Youth Literature, Technical & Scientific Books, Universities, State Entities, Governments, Writers, and Graphic Industry. Participants leverage the fair for retail and wholesale sales, new product launches, brand positioning, and generating qualified national and international contacts. The Salón Internacional de Negocios in 2026 facilitated 1,246 appointments, resulting in a business expectation of USD 4,101,142.

The fair attracts a broad audience including readers, authors, and industry professionals such as editors, distributors, booksellers, agents, and graphic industry writers. Buyers from the Andean region, Central America, the Caribbean, and the United States are specifically targeted. In 2026, programming was provided for 52,500 students, alongside 50 events for people with disabilities and older adults.
