Interpets Osaka

Interpets Osaka is an annually held international trade fair dedicated to the pet industry, taking place in Osaka, Japan. It functions as a dual platform, serving both as a B2B hub for industry professionals and a B2C event for pet owners. The fair highlights a comprehensive array of products and services, including pet food, supplies, services, and technology, with the aim of generating business opportunities and introducing innovative pet lifestyle concepts.

Exhibitors at Interpets Osaka gain a valuable platform to strengthen existing customer relationships, expand their sales channels, and cultivate new business ventures. The event facilitates both B2B and B2C engagement, offering opportunities for business meetings, direct sales promotion, and enhancing brand awareness. Exhibitors can directly engage with approximately 33,000 visitors (estimated from 30,434 trade buyers and public visitors in 2026). The fair is particularly effective for business expansion within Western Japan, as approximately 90% of its visitors originate from the Kansai, Tokai, Chugoku, and Shikoku regions. A business matching consultant service is also available for an additional fee.

The target audience encompasses domestic and international buyers, salon owners, and other professionals within the pet industry, alongside public visitors. For its 2027 edition, Interpets Osaka will occupy Halls 4, 5, 6A, and 6B at INTEX Osaka, featuring 13 specialized zones. Previous specialized zones have included the "Pet-Tech zone" and "Disaster prevention with Pets zone," with the "Intercats zone" having been launched in 2026. Concurrent programs include "Upgrade Your Household Preparedness: One-to-One Consultations & Panel Exhibition" and "HAPPY GROOMING CONTEST JAPAN." In 2027, two stages will host seminars and special programs led by industry experts.
