TEFAF MAASTRICHT

TEFAF MAASTRICHT is an annually held international fair recognized as the premier global event for fine art, antiques, and design. It showcases 7,000 years of art history and is organized by The European Fine Art Foundation. The fair is hosted at the MECC Maastricht Exhibition & Congress Centre in Maastricht, Netherlands, from March 13-18, 2027.

Exhibitors at TEFAF MAASTRICHT present works across ten distinct sections: Ancient Art, Antiques, Design, Jewelry, Modern & Contemporary Art, Paintings, Works on Paper, Showcase, Focus, and Arts of Africa & Oceania. The 2026 edition featured 277 exhibiting galleries from over 20 nations, with 25% of participants having participated for more than 20 years. The 2021 edition showcased around 700 works from over 260 exhibitors, and the 2020 edition had 285 participating exhibitors.

The event attracts a diverse audience, including leading experts, new and experienced art collectors, art professionals, connoisseurs, major private and institutional collectors, art consultants, interior designers, dealers, students, and the culturally curious. Museum directors, curators, and scholars also attend, with over 450 museums and 67 museum patron groups visiting in 2026. Concurrent programs include TEFAF Talks, Meet the Experts sessions, the TEFAF Summit, and the J.P. Morgan Private Bank Showcase Prize. Other initiatives like the TEFAF Museum Restoration Fund, the Curator Course, and the Emerging Collectors Program (2026 edition) further enrich the experience. The 2026 edition generated an economic impact of €86.4 million in the Netherlands.
