Festival du Livre de Paris (formerly LIVRE Paris)

The Festival du Livre de Paris, formerly known as LIVRE Paris, is an annual literary celebration hosted at the iconic Grand Palais in Paris, France. Evolving from a traditional book fair, the event transformed in 2022 to offer a broader cultural experience. The upcoming 2027 edition is set to take place from April 16-18, bringing together authors, publishers, and readers in a vibrant atmosphere.

The festival showcases a diverse range of literary works across various core exhibit sectors, including literature and fiction, comics and graphic novels (bande dessinee), children's books (jeunesse), romance, crime fiction, fantasy, humanities, and non-fiction. It provides a significant platform for authors to engage with their audience through numerous meetings and book signing sessions.

Open to both the general public and publishing industry professionals, the event fosters literary exchange and discovery. The 2026 edition attracted 121,000 visitors, featured 1,800 participating authors, over 300 author meetings, and 3,000 book signing sessions across 12 stages, highlighting its substantial reach and impact within the literary world. A dedicated professional networking day and school programs are also part of the festival's offerings.
