IBTM World is the annual global gathering of the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) industry, organized by RX (formerly Reed Travel Exhibitions). The 2026 edition takes place from November 17 to 19 at Fira Barcelona Gran Via, Hall 3, accessible via the Accés Sud entrance, at Av. Joan Carles I, 64, 08908 L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain. IBTM stands for Incentives, Business Travel & Meetings.

The event brings together over 12,000 event professionals globally (2026), including Hosted Buyers, event planners, conference organizers, and suppliers from destinations, hotels, venues, event technology, and travel sectors. An AI-powered matchmaking system (2026) enables attendees to schedule targeted one-on-one meetings in advance. Qualified decision-makers manage average budgets of USD 12 million (2026), and 89% of international event planners in attendance are actively sourcing new destinations, venues, event technologies, and service providers (2026). Visitor tickets are priced at €100 + VAT.

The conference programme includes the Main Stage, the Skills Exchange (a new collaborative learning format for 2026 with Lunch & Learn, Brain & Brew, and Sips & Skills workshops), the Future Stage, IBTM Ignite (a start-up showcase), and AI for Events – Demo Day LIVE (in partnership with Boldpush).
