AAD opens three trade days before its two-day air show

AAD runs 16–20 September 2026 at Air Force Base Waterkloof in Tshwane, co-hosted by South Africa's defence ministry and the industry association AMD. The biennial event splits into a three-day trade exhibition for media and trade visitors, covering air, sea and land defence technology with a static aircraft display, then a two-day air show open to the public. The site offers 54,000 square metres with national pavilions; 33 official delegations attended in 2024.
