Commercial UAV Expo Americas Draws Its Biggest Turnout Yet

Commercial UAV Expo Americas drew its largest crowd in 12 years as the U.S. drone market entered a regulatory squeeze. The 12th edition, held 1–3 September 2026 in Las Vegas, brought 3,800 verified professionals from all 50 U.S. states and 65 countries, alongside more than 250 exhibitors. Section 232 tariffs of up to 100 percent on drone imports took effect on the closing day, and FAA and EASA officials shared a stage on transatlantic BVLOS rules. Event director Adrianne Madden said the turnout reflects how much the industry needs support and clarity. The next edition runs 7–9 September 2027 at the same venue.
