SIGEP

SIGEP — the International Exhibition of Gelato, Pastry, Artisan Bakery, and Coffee — is held annually at the Rimini Expo Centre in Rimini, Italy. The event functions as the global reference trade fair for the artisan gelato sector and its supply chains, drawing exhibitors and buyers from across the world. SIGEP 2027 is scheduled for January 23-27, 2027, and is organized by IEG - Italian Exhibition Group SpA.

Past editions have reflected strong international participation. The January 2026 edition hosted 1,300 exhibiting brands and operators from 160 countries, while the 45th edition (2024) presented more than 1,200 brands, with buyer delegations from 80 countries. The exhibition covers six key sectors — Gelato, Pastry, Artisan Bakery, Coffee, Chocolate, and Pizza — with programming organized across six dedicated Arenas: Dolce, Gelato, Pastry, Choco, Coffee, and Bakery. A Vision Plaza area highlights emerging trends in the dolce category.

SIGEP features an extensive program of international competitions, workshops, and demonstrations. Competitions include the Gelato World Cup (held in 2024 and 2026), the Sigep Gelato D'Oro (2024), the Gelato Europe Cup (scheduled for 2025), the Italian final of the World Panettone Championship (2024), the Junior Pastry World Championship (JPWC), and the Italian Senior and Junior Pastry Championships. The event attracts retail buyers, distributors, chefs, restaurateurs, hotel managers, foodservice decision-makers, food brand suppliers, beverage producers, kitchen equipment suppliers, hospitality services providers, and food packaging specialists.
