Event Attraction and Hosting Policy
CCPIT Hebei and the Hebei provincial exhibition industry development office are holding the Hebei Convention & Exhibition Industry Development Conference 2026 in Qinhuangdao from 14 to 17 September 2026, co-organised by the Qinhuangdao trade promotion council, under the theme of exhibitions empowering industry and joint development. Invitees include national exhibition experts, representatives of international exhibition associations, the China Chamber of International Commerce, provincial departments, city and county governments, trade promotion and exhibition bodies, industry associations, and heads of venues, brand shows and key companies in the province. Lectures and exchanges at the Qinhuang International Hotel on 15-16 September cover the exhibition industry in the digital era, international exhibiting, digital exhibitions, the impact of the China International Import Expo, UFI membership practice and the development of leading Chinese shows, plus matchmaking for Qinhuangdao exhibition and cultural-tourism projects. On 17 September, a CCPIT Hebei vice president chairs the conference, the Mayor of Qinhuangdao gives a welcome address, the head of the exhibition department of the China Chamber of International Commerce speaks, and the Qinhuangdao foreign affairs and commerce bureau, the Langfang trade promotion council, the Anping County government, the Hebei (Pingxiang) bicycle, pram and toy expo and the Zhangjiakou Taizicheng convention and exhibition centre present, followed by a speech from the CCPIT Hebei president, who also heads the provincial exhibition office.
